Our process
Our three-stage process
Most difficulties in outsourced drafting arise from unclear scope guidelines rather than from the drawing itself. Our process is concise and transparent for that reason.
-
Initial contact and scope of works
Clients may contact us by email, telephone or the enquiry form on this website. We discuss the project and define the scope of works, and we request all available reference material, including BOM (Bill of Materials), consultant specification, scope of works guidelines, architectural & services reference layouts, mark-up scans or hand-drawn sketches, image files & existing CAD data. The more complete this information, the more accurate our scope and cost projection.
-
Project execution
Once we agree on the scope, work commences promptly. We assign the project to a member of our CAD team, and clients receive work-in-progress files at regular intervals appropriate to the scale of the project. We maintain communication throughout, and we address comments, queries and revisions as they arise rather than at completion.
-
Final delivery and submission
We conduct an internal review of every project against the required standards before it leaves the practice. We issue final documentation in the client's preferred format, whether by digital transfer or cloud service, and we treat all project information as confidential.

Common questions
-
What happens after a first enquiry?
Clients reach us by email, telephone or the enquiry form on this website. We discuss the project and define the scope of works together, and we ask for the reference material that is already available. Most difficulties in outsourced drafting arise from unclear scope guidelines rather than from the drawing itself, so this first stage is deliberately thorough.
-
What reference material do you need to prepare a scope?
BOM (Bill of Materials), consultant specification, scope of works guidelines, architectural & services reference layouts, mark-up scans or hand-drawn sketches, image files & existing CAD data
-
Do clients see the drawings before they are finished?
Yes. Once the scope is agreed and the project is assigned to a member of our CAD team, clients receive work-in-progress files at intervals appropriate to the scale of the project. We maintain communication throughout rather than presenting the set only at the end.
-
How are comments and revisions handled?
We address comments, queries and revisions as they arise rather than holding them to completion. Because the same personnel stay with a project from scope to final submission, a revision does not require re-briefing anyone.
-
How is the final documentation delivered?
Every project is reviewed internally against the required standards before it leaves the practice. We then issue the final documentation in the client's preferred format, by digital transfer or cloud service. All project information is treated as confidential.
Three stages, start to finish
The first begins here. Send the project details and we will define the scope of works.
